ASA Slaps William Hill with Sanction

William Hill, the United Kingdom online casino has been given a sanction by the United Kingdom Advertising Standards Authority. The reason for this sanction it due to a series of ads released online through twitter being appealing to children. This is a massive issue with the ASA as protecting minors from gambling is their upmost priority.

There were a number of different tweets released by William Hill that had children playing with golf clubs, snuggling up with teddy bears and words such as “Yippie” were showcased within the ad. William Hill in the sanction told William Hill that these ads appeal to children and must be removed instantly. This is the second time in recent months that the ASA has given William Hill a sanction. This popular casino which is famous for providing some of the best video poker games available on the market will only need another sanction in order to receive a fine. This won’t affect the casino in any way as thousands upon thousands in the UK choose to play video poker & a variety of other casino games through William Hill.

William Hill has been gaining more players through their poker network recently. So much so that William Hill has revealed that they are seeking to buy out the 888 Poker brand in the upcoming months. This would allow for this UK Casino to rise to the likes of PokerStars & FullTilt. Those wishing to try out their poker platform can do so by signing up with the casino today. William Hill also operates in an array of other markets as well.
